New Jersey Forest Fire Service
This Web site hosts a wealth of information. View real-time weather conditions. Use “A Firefighter's Guide to Protecting Homes in the Wildland/Urban Interface” to assess and set priorities for a fire action plan. Learn about outdoor safety, prescribed burning, and protecting your home’s 100-foot defensible space. The New Jersey Forest Fire Service has assembled educational FIRE Kits that are available for loan to teachers and other interested educators as well as developed a program of wildfire prevention and education for students K–12.
